Architects and other technical professionals will either charge you a % of the contract cost or a fixed fee. My input however can be defined by you and will depend on the nature of your project. As such my fees always remain independent of the final project cost.

My charge out rate is £75 per hour. No VAT is applicable.

Naturally a first meeting to discuss your needs is entirely free of charge. Only then can you determine whether having me on board is a useful addition to your project.

Each project is unique but an example breakdown of my time involved in a house/flat refurbishment can be found below:

Pre- construction phase​

1) Architect appointment (sourcing, meetings and fee proposal evaluation) - 7.5 hours

2) Creation of project plan and programme, setting up communication channels (Whatsapp groups, Pinterest boards, email etc) - 3.25 hours

4) Liaison between client and architect and/or design professional (organising design meetings, develop design, submission of building warrant and planning if needed, tender documentation) - 15 hours

5) Tender process (sourcing contractors and managing tender returns and up to contractor appointment) - 7.5 hours

6) Budget development and management - 7.5 hours

7) Working with client to specify finish requirements (kitchen/bathroom/flooring/tiles etc) - 15 hours

Construction Phase

My involvement in this phase is completely at your discretion and can be discussed at the end of the pre-construction phase.​
